WorkSource Oregon Community Partnership Coordinator in Salem, Oregon

The Community Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining funding partnerships between Marion-Polk Food Share, business partners and community groups. In this role, the Community Partnerships Coordinator helps to ensure diversity of revenue and broad-based community support of the Food Share. This position provides support to the Development Team through community campaign and drive management, including donor stewardship, partner prospect cultivation and effectively delivering community engagement opportunities through outreach, public speaking and networking engagements. Core Areas of Responsibility: 'h Builds and maintains funding partnerships with businesses and community groups, 'h Assists in the planning and execution of community campaigns and food and fund drives Builds and maintains funding partnerships with businesses and community groups. 'X Functions as the Development Team liaison for all businesses and community groups who engage with the Food Share. 'X Works in conjunction with the Program and Volunteer Teams to build dynamic community partnerships that involve food, funds and volunteerism. 'X Provides business partners and community groups with the information and support they need to run successful campaigns and food and fund drives on behalf of the Food Share. 'X Works with the Marketing and Communications Manager to feature and recognize business and community partners who support the work of the Food Share. 'X Creates and delivers educational and engaging group tours and/or presentations for community groups and business partners. 'X Identifies and cultivates individuals, businesses and community groups that can increase their support of the Food Share. 'h Assists in the planning and execution of community campaigns and food and fund drives. 'X Assists Donor Engagement Manager with community campaign strategy, campaign implementation, post-campaign evaluations, reporting and thank yous. 'X Serves as Food Share liaison to community campaigns and drives; coordinating and attending planning meetings with appropriate partners and staff. 'X Ensures all community campaigns and food and fund drives are on all relevant calendars, including the department communications calendar and key staff calendars. 'X Works with Donor Engagement Coordinator to ensure all necessary promotional materials and forms are available and accessible to effectively complete community campaigns and food and fund drives. Education and/or Experience; Certificates,/Licenses/Registrations: 'h Bachelors degree in business, marketing, public relations or related field, preferred. 'h Two or more years of successful experience in stewardship, development, fundraising and/or donor relations activities, preferred. 'h Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience with databases and tools. 'h Must pass pre-employment drug screen and full background check, including driving records check.
